Usually bucket elevator selection depends on the following factors:


The shape of the material: The material is powder, granules, small pieces or large pieces.
Physical properties of the material: The material has no adsorption or viscosity, whether it contains water.

The proportion of materials: Usually, bucket elevator parameters are all planned and calculated for materials with a bulk density of less than 1.6.


Too much weight of material is required to calculate the tensile strength of traction and transmission. The amount of transport per unit time, usually, the shape of the material directly determines the material discharge method, the common rules for the selection of centrifugal materials, centrifugal projectile discharge, bulk materials used gravity discharge, and the discharge method is not the same resolution.


The hopper method used in the bucket elevator is different. The centrifugal casting unloading uses more shallow buckets and curved buckets, while the gravity unloading requires deep buckets. The type of hopper selected by the bucket elevator is not the same, so the increase in the amount of material delivered per unit time is not the same. The final delivery volume of the bucket elevator is a comprehensive parameter that depends on the hopper method, bucket speed, material weight, material properties, and hopper quantity.


Bucket elevator machine selection process: material weight → drive method (bucket type) → material properties → discharge method → hopper method → the increase of bucket elevators of this series → determine the model.
