Buried scraper conveyor is a continuous conveying device for conveying bulk materials such as dust, small particles and blocks, which can be conveyed horizontally, inclinedly and vertically. Bulk material has internal friction and side pressure characteristics. When transporting horizontally, the material is subject to the thrust of the scraper chain in the direction of movement. When the internal friction between the material layers is greater than the external friction between the material and the groove wall, the material moves forward along with the scraper chain. When the ratio of the height of the material layer to the width of the machine groove satisfies certain conditions, the material flow is stable. 

When transporting vertically, it mainly depends on the arching characteristics of the material. When the material in the closed machine trough is subjected to the thrust of the scraper chain in the direction of movement, and the resistance of the lower part is continuously fed to prevent the upper material from falling, the lateral pressure is generated, thereby increasing the internal friction of the material, When the internal friction force is greater than the external friction between the material and the tank wall and the material self weight, the material is conveyed upward along with the scraper chain to form a continuous material flow. 

Due to the vibration of the scraper chain during the movement, the material arch of some materials will be at 120°C; the temperature of the hot material conveying material is 100-450°C, and the instantaneous material temperature is allowed to reach 800°C.
